This Castle dates to the 9th century and it’s linked to the foundation of Condado Portucalense and to the struggles for independence of Portugal. Castelo de Óbidos, Leiria

Located in Santa Maria, Castelo de Óbidos dates to the 12th century, eventually suffering a lot of damage to the structure with the 1755 earthquake. The castle and the entire urban complex of the town of Óbidos are classified as a national monument. In 1932 Castelo de Óbidos went through a consolidation, reconstruction and restoration interventions. From this set, the town's pillory stands out, built in granite; also, the town's aqueduct and the Memory Cross. Mosteiro da Batalha, Leiria

Formerly designated by Mosteiro Santa Maria da Vitória, Mosteiro da Batalha is known for Templo da Pátria. This monastery of the Ordem de São Domingos was built over two centuries until around 1563, during the reign of seven kings of Portugal. It represents Portuguese Gothic architecture and was considered a world heritage site by UNESCO. Mosteiro de Alcobaça is also known as Mosteiro Real Santa Maria de Alcobaça, a totally Gothic work with the beginning of construction in 1178. It’s classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1989 and as a Portuguese National Monument since 1910. Mosteiro dos Jerónimos dates to the end of the 15th century, where it was built by King Manuel I. With the status of National Pantheon since 2016, it is located in the parish of Belém, in the city of Lisbon. Through Manuelina architecture, this monastery is the most illustrious Portuguese monastic complex of its time. Mosteiro dos Jerónimos has been classified as a National Monument since 1907 and, in 1983, it was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Torre de Belém, Lisboa

Torre de Belém, formerly Torre de São Vicente a Par de Belém, and now officially Torre de São Vicente, is a monument located in Belém, Lisbon. It represents one of the ex-libris of the city, being an architectural icon of the reign of D. Manuel I. The monument is a tribute to nationalism, through the decorations of the Coat of Arms of Portugal, including inscriptions of crosses of the Order of Christ in the windows of stronghold. Both Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Torre de Belém, it was classified in 1983 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
